Join Us for the MLK Day of Service

Mark your calendar for January 20 and join us in honoring the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. through a meaningful day of action and reflection. This event, co-hosted by the Good Neighbor Diversity Council and Gustavus Adolphus College, aims to foster a “Beloved Community” and address issues of social justice and equity. • Information Tables: Visit the Jackson Campus Center from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. to explore a variety of service opportunities and learn how you can get involved. • Contribute: If your organization offers volunteer opportunities, we invite you to provide information, staff an information table, or host a tour. Please contact Meme (pookys1024@gmail.com) or Martin (mlang3@gustavus.edu) • Stories and Conversation Events: A time for people to tell stories and be in conversation about living into MLK’s “dream” and how the dream is not yet realized. 1- 2:30 p.m. at the Center for Inclusive Excellence at Gustavus. 7-8:30 p.m. St. Peter Community Center Stay tuned for updates and additional details as the day approaches by following the St. Peter Community & Family Education Facebook page.
