School Readiness is an education program under Saint Peter Public Schools’ Community & Family Education. It is a program which serves parents and children between the ages of three and their kindergarten enrollment. This program supports parents in their role as their child’s first and most important teachers. Through regular weekly classes, and a variety of family events, parents are encouraged to interact positively with their children, increase their understanding of child development, and enhance their parenting skills. School Readiness classes are held at various times of the day and week to accommodate varying family schedules. All program offerings will promote age/developmentally appropriate activities and practices.
