The Documentary Film Series is now the Viewers Like Us Club! Join Twin Cities PBS, Nicollet County Historical Society, and Community & Family Education to watch PBS programs and discuss Minnesota history, food, and culture! The Viewers Like Us Club is a free and thoughtfully curated program designed to bring adults together around meaningful media. It’s like a traditional book club but swaps out the latest best-selling novel with award-winning programs from our local PBS station. Each film includes a guided group discussion led by local facilitators designed to spark conversation, encourage reflection, and foster community connection.

Twin Cities PBS’ Broadcast Wars, co-produced by Cathy Wurzer, takes us back a half-century to the era when ratings battles were fierce, women and people of color were making their presence known, technology was rapidly evolving, and local TV news was as vital as it was entertaining. Running time: 90 minutes
