COMMUNITY WRITING
Must be 18+ for writers of all levels. The Arts Center is offering a positive, welcoming space for writers of all levels and interests to meet and work toward their individual goals in a community setting. Free, with donations to the Arts Center encouraged. Every $5-$10 makes a big difference for a small organization! How Community Writing works: 1) The host leads a few minutes of introductions, conversation about goals, etc., and offers an optional prompt to work toward or consider during writing. 2) The next hour is given to focused writing. 3) After that, we will engage in a few minutes of debriefing and relaxation wherein everyone is free to share the triumphs and frustrations of their writing process. The goal is for everyone to leave feeling great about taking time to work on their craft. Writers at all levels are welcome to attend.
Mon., 6-8 p.m. at the Arts Center. Free, with donations to the Arts Center encouraged (suggested donation: $10)—no advance registration required.
