FLOWER POUNDING FABRIC WITH MONTANA TOLZMAN
Age 16+ If you have any pent up anger from weeding your flower beds all summer long, come have a fist fight with some florals and fabric! Ample flowers and plants will be provided, but we will also have 30 minutes or so at the beginning of the class to forage some extras as well. Alternatively, you can bring your own fresh or dried flowers. We will arrange the flowers to our liking, cover them with another fabric barrier so it doesn’t bleed through the other side, and hammer the flowers to release their natural pigment onto the fabric. We will then remove the flowers with tweezers, and heat set the eco print with an iron. The Arts Center will provide fabric, paper, and hammers. You will be able to take home whatever you make!
