Interested in pottery but feel intimidated? Select an experienced potter for private lessons for 1 or 2 people. Enjoy customized learning to build your confidence and skills. Choose from projects like companion mugs, a plant potter with a drainage plate, or a nesting bowl set to learn essential techniques. Three 3-hour classes, the first is learning to throw on the wheel; the second is trimming, carving, and decoration; and the final class is glazing. The instructor will contact you to initiate scheduling. Participants must be 10+ years old (ages 10-16 require an adult). Min. 2, max. 4.

Classes are by appointment and must be scheduled at least one week apart for drying and kiln firing. They run from May 15 to August 15, 2026, at $240 per person or $480 for two.
